本計劃探討台灣當代藝術教育之境況，以「口述」（Oral）的方式對台灣當代藝術生態做一個整體性的文本建構。 台灣的當代藝術自「解嚴」以來，無論是在「學院」中開設與當代藝術相關的教育課程，還是在各大「雙年展」（Biennial）所呈現的文化現象，亦或是當代藝術介入台灣社會的實踐行動，都豐富反映出台灣當代藝術的活力與現實意義，對台灣當代意識的生成扮演了積極的角色。當代藝術如果要不斷換發生幾，使人文價值生生不息的滋養當代的社會生活，藝術教育是不可或缺的環節，且勢必先行。因此，對台灣當代藝術場域，以及其中教育模式的整理與書寫意義重大。
