本計劃探討台灣當代藝術教育之境況,以「口述」(Oral)的方式對台灣當代藝術生態做一個整體性的文本建構。 台灣的當代藝術自「解嚴」以來,無論是在「學院」中開設與當代藝術相關的教育課程,還是在各大「雙年展」(Biennial)所呈現的文化現象,亦或是當代藝術介入台灣社會的實踐行動,都豐富反映出台灣當代藝術的活力與現實意義,對台灣當代意識的生成扮演了積極的角色。當代藝術如果要不斷換發生幾,使人文價值生生不息的滋養當代的社會生活,藝術教育是不可或缺的環節,且勢必先行。因此,對台灣當代藝術場域,以及其中教育模式的整理與書寫意義重大。

The basic point based on that if Contemporary Art can be taught, it should not fall back to the fixed mode of Modern Art. The Academy could be a effective institution, it cannot limit the specific content and Form of Contemporary Art Education. Instead, it should always maintain an attitude of experimentation and "becoing", so that Contemporary Art will always stand in the contemporary.
